We stock over 2500 lines, ranging from basic whole food produce
such as tinned chickpeas for 39p, to more unusual items like our Mexican corn tortillas (very hard to find in the UK) at £1.69 for a dozen. Prices are similar or lower than Tesco
and co and we are proud of our independent store. We offer a range
of
good value products which cater for mainstream taste, as well
as offering
something a little bit different, thus proving that
wholesome food's
not just about lentils and mung beans (though
we sell these too)!
By directly sourcing from unusual companies (chosen for a range of different reasons) we are able to offer a wide range of tasty, no added sugar treats, from Meridian's date syrup, almond butter and safflower oil to Trafo's paprika crisps and hazlenut waffles.
We also try to source locally but with global flavours, from
Manchester girl, Minara's authentic and organic Indian sauces,
to African delicacies from Osa in Bury.
Our range is both diverse and delicious and we provide a realistic
ethical grocery option! We sell lots of products that are suitable for gluten free diets – download our info sheet. If you want to know more about avoiding refined sugars and how to replace them, look at this info sheet.
